I did some more work for The Written Word last week, to port libsigc++ to the latest SUN Forte CC compiler and fix some glibmm/libgnomecanvasmm issues on AIX and SUN. It looks like SUN CC 5.7 has some regressions, but they are very good at fixing such things quickly.
The Written Word are wonderful to deal with, and I highly recommend them if you need GNOME or other free software on non-Linux UNIXes without the bother, or Linux distros that don't have the packages you need.
I really need some more of this kind of work. I'm starting to worry about where the money will come from in the next few months. In particular, I think some Linux company should want to sponsor further Glom development.
