Tom, that page is a mess:
- It’s spread over several pages. This suggests that it should be in a database so it can be viewed in several different ways.
- The information is of very variable quality, with widely differing interpretations of “works out of the box”.
- There is no way to request the contributor for more exact information, or hold them to any standards, unless they happen to look back at that page some time in the future.
I’m trying to create a page with at least _one_ on-the-market item that works in each category, because that wiki has failed to do that.

Hi Murray,
Think it might be better to contribute to this page:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/WirelessCardsSupported
I think it’s good to have docs on this, but I think the more proliferation you have, the less chance for keeping it all up to date.
Cheers, Tom
